NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website has no affiliation with Livingston County, Kentucky, or any government body. It and its advertising partners do not provide a service for credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions, or another purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The site is neither a consumer reporting agency nor a private investigation firm.
1. What This Website Is
This private reference site is independent of government. It cannot retrieve an official record, conduct an official check, accept a filing, or maintain the source criminal-history files.
Its content directs readers to the Livingston County Sheriff's Department, Livingston Circuit Court Clerk, Kentucky State Police, the Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry, and other source offices. Outside search services may also appear. Public-agency access is governed by laws including the Kentucky Open Records Act, while 502 KAR 30:060 limits dissemination of certain Kentucky criminal-history information.
2. Rules for Using This Site
Every visitor agrees not to:
- Use site content for a credit, employment, housing, or insurance decision
- Threaten, stalk, harass, or intimidate any person
- Violate federal, Kentucky, or local law
- Attempt unauthorized access to a system or account
- Deploy automated scraping, bots, or similar tools against the pages
- Interfere with service or another visitor's access
3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination
No information obtained here or through a linked tool may be used to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate. Kentucky registry information exists for public safety awareness. KSP warns that harassment under KRS 525.070 or KRS 525.080 can carry criminal punishment. A listing never authorizes vigilantism, confrontation, or blacklisting.
4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create a credit report, consumer report, or regulated background check. The same limit applies to how a visitor may use site content or a linked tool. It may not be used to:
- Make an employment decision
- Evaluate a renter or housing applicant
- Set insurance eligibility or price
- Assess credit or lending terms
- Make another decision regulated by the FCRA
A regulated check must be obtained through an authorized, FCRA-compliant source and used with all required notices, consent, and procedures.
5. No Legal Advice
The site provides general reference material, not legal advice. Only a licensed Kentucky attorney can advise how a warrant, charge, conviction, or expungement law applies to specific facts.
6. No Warranties
All content and services are provided "as is." No promise is made that:
- Partner results are complete, current, or correctly matched
- Every page is accurate or free of defects
- Service will remain uninterrupted
- The site has no error, bug, or security weakness
Charges, dispositions, custody, sealing, and expungement can change a record. Delays and gaps are possible. Only the originating court, sheriff, jail, or Kentucky agency can issue an official statement.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
A link may lead to a county office, Kentucky court or agency, legal resource, or outside search provider. We do not control the destination's accuracy, availability, price, terms, or data practices. Its own rules apply after a visitor leaves this site.
8. Intellectual Property
Livingston County Criminal History or its content partners own the site's text, graphics, logos, and code. Written permission is required to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative work from that material.
9. Limits on Our Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for harm arising from site use, reliance on its content, or use of a linked service.
10. Indemnification
A visitor agrees to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, demands, and proceedings caused by that visitor's site use or violation of these terms, including related legal costs.
11. Governing Law
Kentucky law governs these terms. Any dispute tied to use of the site must be brought in a court located in Kentucky.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms. A revised version becomes effective when it is posted here.
13. Cutting Off Access
Access may be limited or terminated at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.
14. Severability
If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, all other provisions remain effective. The affected language will be modified only as far as needed to make it enforceable.
15. Questions
Questions about these conditions may be directed through the Contact page.
